In my organizational behavior class one of our assignments was to create a team charter. The objective of this project was to create team guidelines and norms for the rest of the semester. I learnt a lot about working in team and about working with different team members strengths and weakness. This project was completed for my marketing class. The assignment was to complete an online survey and then discuss the characteristics of the results that reflect me as consume.
For my business systems course at BCIT we worked with MS PowerPoint 2007 to create presentaion of “Why We Chose BCIT.” We worked together in our assigned groups, collected our ideas and went to work. While doing this presentation I learnded about PowerPoint word art, how to insert video into PowerPoint and many team working skills. After my first year of university I decided that I wanted to travel and give back to the world. I went to Samara, Costa Rica for my volunteer assigment.I had three different placements, all if which were equally rewarding. I worked in a turtle conservation camp, an animal refuge and an elementary school. The turtle conservation camp was by far the most physically challenging but I learnt the most valuable skills from the students at the elementary school. They taught my compassion and patients.
